III-V Epi’s Chief Technical Officer, Professor Richard Hogg, will be visiting Japan for the first two weeks of March.
Richard’s links with Japan date back to 1994, when he was a visiting researcher at the NEC Opto-Electronics Laboratories in Kawasaki. This was followed by looking at rare-earth doped semiconductors at NTT Basic Research Laboratories in Atsugi; and then studying Sb based, self-assembled, quantum dots by MBE at The University of Tokyo, Institute for Industrial Science. On returning to the UK, Richard retained his links with Japan, working at Toshiba Cambridge Research Laboratories on a range of III-V semiconductor devices.
We encourage III-V Epi’s Japanese customers to make contact with Richard while he is Japan to discuss their needs for the design and manufacture of III-V epitaxial structures by MBE and MOCVD.
