III-V Epi will be at SPIE Photonics West in San Francisco, promoting its rapid turnaround, MBE and MOCVD epitaxial manufacturing services. Photonics West, which takes place from January 28th to 2nd February, is the world’s largest photonics technologies event, with exhibitors and attendees representing all parts of the worldwide, photonics supply chain. Markets represented include communications, telecoms, quantum technology, defence, security, automotive, agriculture and additive manufacturing; all of which III-V Epi supplies.
Professor Richard Hogg, CTO of III-V Epi, said, “III-V Epi has industrial customers operating in many of the markets represented at Photonics West, making it an ideal exhibition to attend. Although our customers play a critical role in defence, security, and other sensitive markets, their low volume requirements make them a low priority for many fabs which prefer to supply large quantities to the consumer product giants. Our focus on low to medium volume MBE and MOCVD epitaxial manufacture, enables a much faster turnaround and helps our customers bring new products to market quickly.
“III-V Epi has also removed new product introduction (NPI) bottlenecks by offering essential expertise in every part of the process. This covers wafer design, product development and process optimisation, through to a complete range of test, metrology, and characterisation services.”
